Default Launch Control Advice

Hi All

I have a Z51 coupe with 7-speed manual, MSR.

I have tried 4 launches, 3 with launch control (all around 5.0) and 1 without (5.4). PTM setting was Dry.

I did not do a burnout first.

I dropped the clutch for all 3 using LC. Slammed 1st to second.

I realize I might not get 3.8 without a burnout, but 5.0 seems low.

I am wondering if I am changing gears too quickly because there is not much power coming into second at WOT.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Launch control sucks I have mrc z51 and it seems I can launch the car 100x better by just driving it.

I've done it a half dozen times and it seems very slow to me.

The c7 with Mrc with warm tires is one of the easiest cars go launch I've ever driven.

Messing around with the 0-60 timer today. A little more practice and sun 4 seconds seems possible

maybe you're right...I did 5.4 without LC, and a rolling start.

Well, actually you did 0-62.13 mph, so you turn in a very good time here.

I did a 3.9 without LC, no burn-out, mid 40 degree temps, non-Z51.
