Thanks Glen e. I had heard in the past that new paint had to cure. I wasn't sure if that applied to new car finishes. I am anxious to get this Zaino process out of the way.

You really should wash it in Dawn detergent, clay bar it, that put the base coats on, as soon as you get the car home. VERY tempting to just ride it around, but sooner you get that done the better. Normally I put about two coats of Z2 on, then several of Z5 spray using FRESH micro cloths. Do the wheels too. Results are worth it.
One other thing, doing this immediately helps you get up close and very personal with your car. You will find flaws, many are correctable. But once you finish you will know every inch of the car.
When I start the polishing of the car, I do jack it up take of each wheel, make sure I do the wheel wells, and the back side of the tire rims/wheels. This helps prevent getting road tar and other material embedded onto the wheel or wheel well. Normally I use the Zanio plastic or rubber protector for the wheel wells, and the Z2/Z5 for the back of the wheels. Also do the brake calibers with Zanio too.

That's what I did. It looks fantastic. Car holds a lot of hidden water though.
