I saw an Orange C6 twice in the last week in my locale that had some sort or body cladding/pieces installed over the rear hatch making it look like a C7.
I had to do a double take, unfortunately I was driving and couldn't get a photo. I live in the St Louis metro east area (Belleville, O' Fallon, Fairview Heights IL).
Any one confirm I'm not seeing things? And I'm not making any comment on how it looks to avoid offending the owner/anyone.

Guess we knew it was only a matter of time.
I live in the same area and have not noticed it. I have only seen a red coupe and a black coupe.
There's a guy in my neighborhood with a body kit that looks "something" like a Ferrari 360.
Why?
I don't get this at all.
What's really crazy is seeing some of these kit cars sell for 60-70k completed. For that, you could get a C7, Gen IV viper, ZR1, or even a Ferrari 360 (although it might be a maintenance nightmare). And these replica cars usually perform like garbage.
California Supervettes supplies this rear glass, roof kit. It was available for purchase way before the C7 was even leaked so my take is that it was not intended for a C6 to take from the C7.
A quick search and I found this, so they are out there.
I know, video doesn't work, just a still grab.
I think it looks fine. Some people can't afford a new car and they'll put some mods on their current ride to add some freshness to their daily grind. I just think it's cool when people care about their car enough to try to improve it.
I enjoy the variety on the street and don't jump to a yes or no judgment, but appreciate their interest in cars in general. I find people's modding exhibitions of interest and rarely feel like putting them down.
