Default Getting ready for a Z

Getting ready for a Z06, I am selling my C7 Premiere Coupe. Man this has been one great car for the 3000 miles I've driven it. I am impressed with the job that the Corvette Team has done on this car.
But I'm hoping the Z06 will be this great and more.
If anyone is on the fence on a C7, don't wait. You wiil not regret getting this car.

This was not an ad, just a comment on the great C7. My ad is in the for sale section.

Why sell so soon?
The Z06 is over 6 months away.

Stack up a down payment. I've got a 60th 427 Vert, too......so I'm not Corvette poor.

Selling it before the 2015's hit the lots and he loses even more money!

Asking a very reasonable price too! Too low in my book!

Meh...with the price increase for the '14's and likely price increase (albeit minor) for the '15 it's not an issue (to me, at least). I might sell mine later in the year, but more likely will just trade it to the dealer where I'm buying the Z06.

Sold my C6 this January to help not take so much of a hit on depreciation. It looks like I made the right move. Similarly optioned C6's are selling for over 55 less than what I sold mine for back in January. Yeah, I am stuck driving the Suburban until the Zo6 arrives, and I sorely miss driving a Vette...Damn, this DOES SUCK!

All jokes aside, I would not have done it differently. Who knows where the used C6 market will be when the Z finally arrives?

Stacking the $$$ and adding to it monthly. I haven't had a Vette payment since paying off the C6 back in '11. I've been making monthly payments to a Vette account I created at my credit union so I am used to making the monthly's on the Z. I have a pretty nice nest egg going. I wasn't aware of what I had until I read this thread this morning. I checked my balance online and I was like...DAMN!!!
Who knows, I might have the damn Z paid off even before it gets here!

My allocation spot should get me into a '15 Z, but I am debating on pushing my allocation spot to being one of the first to get a '16 Z. But then I would be Vette poor for another year... I don't know if I can hang that long. It's been torture for the past 6 months.

We'll see.

Glad you enjoyed the car. Stupid question - where is the 4 sale section.

Never mind I found the section.

One item of note... I have it on good authority that they are only supposed to produce 550 Z's the first year, so there is likely going to be a long wait list and many unsatisfied potential owners the first year.

Good luck with the sale and I'm sure that Z06 will be a great car.
