SIRIUS Question
Hey guys- I'm about to renew my Sirius-XM radio. Is there a Promo Code out there that anybody has been using to get a discount? if I can use a code it might make it easier to renew than threatening to cancel.
Thanks

Surely you can't be surius....(sorry couldn't resist)
Just threaten to cancel to get the best deal. It's a tried and true way
Any whatever you do...
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CC NUMBER FOR ANY REASON!!! HAVE THEM SEND YOU AN INVOICE AND PAY BY CHECK

Let it expire and they will make you a deal after two weeks. I got 6 months for $25 on my C6 while I was awaiting the arrival of the C7.
You will really miss it having to put up with FM for a short while.

If you let your plan lapse the best deal they're offering right now is 6 months for $20...I'm still getting bombarded with letters and emails from my last car
Agreed on not giving them your credit card number, never again will I do that as they randomly charged me for incorrect amounts, after I canceled my plan, etc. Luckily they were good about removing the charges as soon as I told them I'd be calling my credit card company when I hung up if they didn't

With the Pandora app, I have no desire to pay for Sirius at all. Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't think I've used it for more than 10 minutes in my introductory months, between the ipod, the SD card, and Pandora.

Call them and just bargain with them. Keep asking for another supervisor if you don't like the price. Right now 6 months can be had for under $30. and like the other Forum members have said "Don't give them your CC #" pay by check only.

I don't write checks so I give them my CC number and call 1 week prior to the renew date. Threaten to cancel and get 6 months again for $28 total after taxes. I have 2 other vehicles and I enjoy XM/Sirus in all of them and have for years. I DONT do commercials.
I noticed the new ordering specs show only 3 months free but I received 1 year free back in Oct.2013. GM saving money I guess.

Guys, CV asked about a discount code-please stick to the question.
KenHorse has the best advice. In no certain words, I've had a Sirius rep tell me that you basically have to say, "I am canceling my service" before you will get a discounted rate.
