How much notice and flexibility should I expect from NCM on delivery date? Car is scheduled for prod week of 9/29 and my wife needs to schedule vacation and get a plane ticket yet... as I fly in to work in Nashville every week (32 months every week but, that's another story) it's not an issue for me as much as getting her and possibly my kids down here for the delivery.
Call Lori for more specific details & let her know what you need as far as time, she is Very Prompt in calling back, if she does Not answer.

Here are a couple pics of mine after I detailed it this weekend. I highly suggest the Glen E technique. It's very easy and fairly quick. These aren't the best photos I've ever taken but better at least than the dealership ones.

Man, it looks like I'm the highest up on the list that still doesn't have a car yet. Today, I'm told it's in Indiana headed for the distribution center. Last week it was in Toledo. This morning, I asked Dennis to clarify where the car is and when it might head to CA, and nothing so far.
I was going to do this again (buy out of state and courtesy delivery) for a 2015 Colorado, but I'm sure not going thru LS this time.
Oh well, been waiting since April. I know all the frustration will disappear once I actually get the car, but man........

In this forum, I consider any picture where the front and back end of the car are in frame as great photos. It's amazing how many photos don't pass that simple test, and yours rate far better a lot of what has been posted.

Thanks. I'm sure it's all fixable but here's what I've noticed so far.
The GPS has the red x on it most of the time and barely knows where my car is. I read that it's a known wiring issue.
The top makes a pretty consistent loud popping sound. I know others have mentioned but when I took the top off to check it the seal had a raised area in one spot. I think that might be the culprit.
There's also some decent wind sound from the drivers window at about 60 and up. It sounds kind of like the window is slightly open. Not sure if that's normal but the seals don't look exactly right there either.

I had the same wind noise when my convertible was new. And somehow it fixed itself after about 100 miles of driving. I have no idea how.

Sometimes the 2 gaskets at the roof and B-pillar joint don't overlap correctly when putting the roof on. I'd check there first to see if they are overlapping correctly.

I got a call from dennis this morning informing me that my car was in. I have to say that this has been one of the most pleasant buying experiences I've had. a few phone calls, a few emails and it's a done deal.
everything that dennis told me happened when he said it would from beginning to end.so we'll fly up next week, see some family, then the vette museum, then home.

Safety Car
Took delivery of my SG Z51 Coupe this afternoon (Tues 9/23) from LS.
Kudos to Dennis Tap who did a great job with the process.
I highly recommend him if you are going to buy a new C7.
