Bigger question is, "Why is it in Eco mode on a weekend drive?" Put it in Sport and have fun!!
It was a 30 mile stretch of highway and I wanted to try it out..that was actually the first time I've had it in eco mode. Got just under 24 MPG on that tank. Was in Track mode this morning on the way you work
Why are you taking a picture while you're driving?
Just asking....I know it's a different world today.
Nobody in front or next to me, long straight stretch of highway, girlfriend set up the camera for me, all I did was press the button...seemed like a low enough risk to me. Probability of me dying or killing someone else during that maneuver was probably about the same as being hit by lightning so I decided to live on the edge and throw caution to the wind.
yea, why eco?? haha, J/K ... I love to play with all the different modes and like that you can just change them on the fly.... I'm always changing them up...

Is there any reason you can not have fun in ECO mode. On my trip home to SC from NH I drove in every mode except for weather and ECO did not effect the fun factor. I put the exhaust in loud mode and the ECO mode sounded great.
Some people may not be aware of this but if you are driving the back roads out in the country the car will stay in the 8 cylinder mode. The only time the car switches to 4 cylinders (regardless of the position of any of the switches) is if you are traveling at highway speeds. The car will not switch to 4 cylinders in 1 thru 4, the 4 cylinder mode only kicks in when you shift to 5th, 6th or 7th gear.

Hmmm, my car will go into V4 in 3rd or 4th gear. I don't remember reading anything about it being limited to 5th-7th gear. It gets pretty annoying when your driving slow and it's constantly bumping back and forth between V4 and V8. The only time I use Eco now is when I'm cruising on the Interstates and some open highways.

I'll have to double check on the settings but when I first got the car I did some experimenting and no matter what I did the engine would not go int V$ until I shifted onto 5th (maybe it went into V4 in 4th but I am sure it would not go into V4 in the lower gears

Thanks
No the "E" indicates ECO end I think the "I" has something to do with the information screen, I nave used that display setting except when I was experimenting with the settings.
I use the screen with the tachometer shown a a hockey stick display

Not so in my automatic vert. I run Sport mode almost all the time and it'll cut to 4-cylinders going 20 MPH in my neighborhood.
