Finally bit the bullet and placed my order for a 2015 Stingray today. I found a local dealer who's honoring supplier pricing and guaranteeing me $26,000 in trade for my 2005 coupe. Here are the particulars:
Z51 coupe
Laguna Blue
Jet Black 2LT
7-speed manual
FE4 (magnetic ride)
Navigation
Silver painted 10-spoke wheels
Painted top
FAY (carbon fiber dash)
Carbon Flash hood stinger stripe
Carbon Flash badges
The car will also include NPP since it's included with Z51 for 2015. The wait begins!
Wow, sounds like you made a great deal! Good job on that.
I know you did your preliminary fact finding extensively, even going to the National Corvette Museum’s Bash recently and reporting to us all about the 2015s.
We talk a lot about how the Stingray looks on this forum, but I think the looks are so secondary to the driving experience of this new Corvette. It's my favorite part of the day getting the seat time. You're going to love it!

Many thanks to all for your kind comments! The wait will be long but worth it. Hopefully I won't drive my wife as nuts as I did while waiting 84 days for my C6 to be delivered!
MikeC4C5C6...C7 - my 2005 has 34,300 miles on it. I made an agreement with my dealer that the mileage would not exceed 36,000 when I hand the car over to them.
