Default C7 Mod for Z51 and base wheels....

Here's an idea I haven't seen yet...you might like it.

You can go body color, or silver, or white too. Silver looked great, but was too subtle for me. Torch Red was considered, but there is so much of it on the car, I opted for black....best for the long haul.

Looks good on the chrome. Not sure I would do it on my silver wheels, but if I did I would probably do AW to match the body but it may not really pop.

get one of those paint pens at Michael's Craft store....get the fine tip one....less than $3 for a 2-pack. Of course, I had to buy 4 different colors just to have them on hand.

Didja prep the surface before painting?

Paint doesn't stick very well to chrome....

yes, do the normal alcohol or MEK, acetone, etc solvent cleaning. Make sure the surface is bone dry before starting. I did a test panel first to verify adhesion on a chrome-plated magnesium panel I swiped from the paint lab years ago. Adhesion is better than expected.

Try Plasti Dip, that way if you don't like it just peel it off.

I think I'll try that in Red to match my other Wheel Mod.

Great idea...much like coloring in the rear Corvette lettering on the C6...

Doesn't have to be on just Z51 wheels though...all of the wheels have Corvette embossed on them if I'm not mistaken...
