Imagine my job of trying to predict how 1,000 people are going to want a car and trying to build stock units! 2015 is going to require many bottles of Advil!
Dave
I live in NJ and will be visiting your place next Spring so just for yuks I occasionally check your inventory. I noticed a lack of non Z51 3LT convertible manual cars-which is what I would want. It seems all the manual non Z51s are either 2 or 1LTs. Am I correct in assuming this is what the market bears as the non Z51 manual 3LT buyer is a rare bird? See you next spring!
The order books came out last week. I had mine from my salesman for almost a week. I placed my order and got my order number yesterday.
Hmmm. I'm still confused, since i've talked to three local dealers in TX, and not one of them have seen or heard of the actual order/options book being available to them or the customer. I am in the market for a '15, so like many others, I am trying to get as much info as possible to help me with my decision of where to buy from and what options will be available. From what i've read on this forum, people are only allowed to place a deposit on a '15...not neccessarily "order" one. I'm just trying to make sure I have the correct info and not be left in the dark when it comes time to officially order one. If you actually have an order book, I would love for you to email it to me somehow, or post some pics...because I am going to be very mad if my local dealers are hiding something from me. Thanks for any info you may have.
Yes, the order guide is available and your dealer can enter the order into the system and give you an order numbers. Nothing is going to happen with that order for at least 4 to 5 weeks, but they can enter it.

Yes it will set there till June 26th the go into the allocations then to the next step to production sometime after Aug. 11th. Please tell me what is any deferent than anyone else that has placed a order.
The big deference is mine is a 2015 and as such must wait till the 2014 are done. The big deference to me is that I'm in front of everyone at my dealer and hope to be in the first group of 2015. I don't want to have a car that is 1 model year old a few days after it's built and as such is worth less. Plus I'm after a few of the opt. that the 2015 has and next year mine will be worth less than the 2016 but I would have enjoyed it through out it's decline in value.
So your correct it will set there just like the thousands before it and after.

The book is posted on the stingray forum to review. Also call Mike Davenport at Bachman Auto. He can get your order in the system and send you a copy of the booklet if you want to place a order. Bachman is in Louisville, KY and can set up a NCM pick up if you want to make the trip.
You can find him on the web under the Chevydude.

I POSTED THE NEW UPGRADES FOR THE '' 15'S A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO THAT COULD BE ORDERED ......BUT THEY JUST '' SOMEHOW GOT TAKEN OFF''.............
Let me know if you got pricing when you order the car, also if you can tell me if you negotiated the price down. I put a deposit on my 2015, but didn't spec it out since my dealer said pricing is not out yet.

I negotiated my price last February when I put down a deposit as to how much I was going to be off MSRP. The pricing does not come out until sometime in July but it this point it doesn't make much difference. The price will be with the price will be, that's the reason I negotiated an amount off the MSRP.
My price reduction was based on the history of buying cars through that dealership and buying 4 out of 6 Corvettes from them.

Oh okay I see, I will try negotiating it. Do you know if the 2015 will be any different on standard features. I know it has a lot of new options, but not sure if the standard features will get an update, and/or if they fixed all the bugs with the 2014's.
