Default Wife problem...

Any one having complaints from the wife about the seat belt alignment on the C7? She is very unhappy about the location the belt comes across her chest.

People ask her how she likes the new car and she is slow to respond due the seat belt angle.

Short of swapping her in for a new bride (47 years of marriage is a lot of training to get her just right or she got me trained, whatever), any ideas? I keep telling her to flog the buttons and levers on the seat until the strap is comfortable but the hunt for comfort is eluding her.

A few years ago I had a Cadillac STS. My wife complained she couldn't find a comfortable seat position.

Sometimes they complain about something when something else is the issue.

Obviously you missed the 47 years of marriage and my hope to continue the length of the marriage contract!

No pics forthcoming!

Personally the seats are just fine for me and I think she's nitpicking!

By adjusting the seat you should be able to reposition where the seatbelt comes in contact with her chest, You could also try a cheepo seat belt pad they sell at most auto parts store. Good luck, Would hate to see you get rid of your wife.

Remember, wives are like Corvettes.....You trade them in when the new generation comes along

Of course, the loss of dollars on the trade in process is significant...

(Please don't tell my wife I said this, she wont like it )

There was some adjustment to the seatbelt available for children. Maybe check into this?

Try Duct tape, one nice big piece across her mouth and you will have a nice quiet complaint free drive.

Elmer and company, you guys are cracking me up with this.

Here's a whole selection of seat belt pads, some even with memory foam. URL says "for girls".
