Another quick question. Did your vette come with the front license plate holder? When I asked my dealer to order it he said I didn't have to as it comes with it due to Texas law requires it. True?

Good question. I think GM imposes that front plate holder option onto the order if it comes from a front plate state dealer regardless of whether or not the dealer orders the option. Regardless of whether that is true or not, the front plate holder is always shipped loose inside the car and is left for the dealer to install during make-ready. That is your opportunity to specify to the dealer if you want it installed or not. Most dealers will honor your request but tell you that you are responsible for any violations with the law if not installed.
From the research I have been conducting lately I've gone from expecting it around the 20th to now around the 10th. My wife is so ready for it to get here she says I'm obsessed.
Customer service just updated me that as of 6/5/2014 its shipped. If its gone by truck then hopefully it will be here by this weekend. Fingers crossed.
Dealer just said he got invoice and it should be in on Tuesday.
