If you look at the large volume Corvette dealers the Coupes are in short supply. Kerbeck is not discounting Coupes and Z51 Convertibles. They are doing 3 grand off on Convertible Non Z51's.
Here's a lesson from Business School that is completely true
"The Customer Sets the Selling Price, not the seller"
I have found this to be 100% true, especially with cars. This is also why GM raised the price a few months ago...customers demanded it.
Are you saying to yourself "WTF is this jack-wagon saying, I never asked for a price increase" Maybe you specifically did not ask, but every last customer paying the higher price did. By their actions, customers are saying "yes, this is worth what you have priced it at and I want one"
I could go on and on about this stuff, but it is amazing how the laws of supply & demand play out like a text book on these cars.
you will see the z06 in Robb report for 20k over, mark my words...because somebody will pay it....

Absolutly the truth!! That is why concert promoters are trying to cut into the gravy the scalpers get. Selling tickets at 5 X face or whatever.... of paying $10K over sticker someone is willing to do it!!!
So much for the predicted fire sales on C7's this spring/summer. It's now moving into the '15 model year, inventory is relatively low and demand is still high.

Well... As the saying goes... Location...Location...Location

MacMulkin has $4,000 off base convertibles (14 in stock), but nothing off coupes. It has 3 coupes in stock, which for a dealer that has allocation for over 70 coupes and 30 convertibles per month is not much inventory.
Kerbeck has only 4 coupes, all base w/auto trans in stock - but 16 convertibles.
I see the model year coming to a close and orders for the 2015 Corvette will soon be taking place. Dealers are offering $3,000 or more off MSRP for your business.
But then, I look at some of the dealers here and elsewhere and they are still in MSRP mode and act like they are doing me a favor to sell me a C7 for not a penny over MSRP (plus the hidden dealer fees). You gotta be kidding me with the MSRP stuff. Is anybody stupid enough to pay bust out MSRP for a car that is about to be 1 year old?
You can't be looking. One dealer up this way has a Z51 convertible (NEW) forsale at $5,000 off MSRP.
There are lots more if you take the time to look around.
And it will get better the closer we get to the new MY. I would think the
dealers want to move the remaining 2014's so they can get 2015 allocations.

2015 allocations for the first half of 2015 are already set, and for the second half of 2015 will be set bases upon the number of cars they were able to order in 2014, not how many they sell by any set date.
As I seriously doubt any dealer passed up a 2014 allocation, the 2015 allocations will be about the same per dealer as they were for 2014.
Also, the best way to see what is or will be left in inventory is to look at the big dealers website for what they have in stock or inbound. With the last orders going in on 6/12, by 6/26 Kerbeck will post every 2014 car it has coming in that is not pre-sold. 2015's won't hit dealers lots until September 2014.
Hardly a day goes by that I don't increasingly hear that the economy here in the US is about to take a real turn for the worse, including the value of the US dollar. Right now I would be looking to do everything to get out of debt, and prepare for some rough economic times ahead. I certainly wouldn't be borrowing money and taking on additional debt just to drive a new C7. I know that there are a lot of scoffers out there that reject this, but wait and see.

Remember that a car on the dealer lot is already sold in GM's eyes. If anything, it will increase the dealers 2015 allocation, not hurt it.
