Default New Texas C7..!

I've had the car a few weeks now and about 500 miles on the odo so far (been traveling too much to drive it enough so far..), and absolutely love both the look and the driving dynamics....no regrets whatsoever about the purchase (3LT Z51, manual, NPP..!). Coming from a CTS-V Coupe which I also liked very much but was really wanting to get back into a real, tossable, sports car.

Two things that I haven't seen mentioned here before - though I may have missed them.

One, the smell of adhesive is VERY strong inside the car. Is this everyone else's experience also? It is not really a "new car smell", but clearly a chemical smell that I can only imagine is attributed to the adhesives used inside.

Two, has anyone else noticed that on the back window the tinted band on the top is a field of tiny Stingray logos...?!? I thought that was a nice little detail...

LOVE this car...! Worth every penny of the $76k sticker IMO....

Yes, the little Stingrays on the back window are cool. I did a double take when I first saw them.
Adhesive smell, no, just new car smell.
Nice car you have,
I have had mine 6 months now and enjoy it like the first week I had it. No regrets.

Oh, and put a Texas tint on those windows, The car will really jump with your black trims

Cannot see your grille bar, is it still chrome?

Congrats, beautiful car.
It took my 3LT coupe about 6 weeks to start smelling like a new car - the outgassing goes away eventually and the leather smell takes over.
My windows are tinted and the logos still show up on the back window.

Adhesive smell was definitely overwhelming for a few months. Gone now for the most part. Enjoy!

That little logo is everywhere on the car Just keep a lot out, you will keep finding it. I believe there has been a thread about both items you stated. The little stingray logos on the back window for sure has been discussed a few times.

Enjoy the car!
