Interesting that that is a "Savings" of over $8,000 according to that web page. If they can get it, thats fine. As far as I am concerned, it goes right to the heart of their integrity which basically says, 'if you are foolish enough to let us rip you off, then we are happy to do so..."

It's even better if you click on the window sticker link and see that msrp is 79,465.
When I began searching for my C7, I contacted every dealer in the Vegas area including this one. Every single solitary one of them were marking them 10K plus. It was laughable but in reality, most of those dealers don't get huge allocations and as such, can probably find a local sucker or jackpot winner to make an impulse purchase at an exorbitant price.

Yep, if they consistently do this it is because it has been "successful" for them. What a sleazy way to "earn" a living.

so if your net worth, e.g., is $100 MM (my arbitrary cut-off for "rich"), as a buyer you likely see the math of the transaction pretty clearly. if you go in with your eyes open, and the magnitude of the money doesnt matter to you, is it really a rip off? i argue in the negative.
youve got 2 parties entering into a transaction, both of them getting what they want for the price that works for them. consider this: the buyer gets to have one of the first, brand new shiny cars du jour, to flaunt before all his bffs--peer admiration (second or third strongest motivator), for a price thats irrelevant to him (likely gets to write it off against one of the companies he owns, as well). the seller gets a few thousand dollars more than any other sellers, on a single (or a few more) vehicle. arguably, the buyer makes out better than the seller, who, on an after tax basis, produces a bottom line essentially the same as if he/she had not done the transaction. conclusion: the buyer is the one who wins.
Las Vegas and Henderson dealers are mostly crooks. I would never by a new car here, let alone a Corvette. There's no competition and dealers will markup stuff or add silly packages that they make 4-500% profit margin on. I saw a Prius C (hybrid econobox) marked up from 21K to 24K at Toyota/Autonation just yesterday.
Yep, it’s simply disgusting, a color for a child’s toy not a high performance car.
I don’t care how much money you have why willingly let yourself get ripped off? Furthermore, if you wanted a convertible, you could have gotten the vast majority of the driving enjoyment for a lot less than that specimen.
Bill Gates didn’t get where he is by making stupid decisions like overpaying that much for a car. Don
If a willing buyer voluntarily wants to pay that much it's not a ripoff.
Sorry it may not be a rip-off more of a hosejob like another poster said.

Yeah MSRP. The point of this post was to expose dealerships that are charging 20k over sticker for this car. The reason I know this Is because I had inquired a few months ago before I went to Kerbeck and they had called to see if I was still interested because even though I told them I had bought one, they unfortunately forgot to take my name off the list. So they said they had a coupe just in and I asked the price she said 98 and some change with the market adjustment. I went online and lone and behold there it is.
I also post these because people complain about a 5k markup to show that it could be worse
