I am really enjoying my C7. But I am having some electrical gremlins.
Last year I took the car to the dealer to repair a problem where the driver's seat refused to move or tilt backwards. Forwards movement was no problem.
They claimed the seat needed new switches and some other items.
The seat and the car were slightly damaged in the process but that is another issue.
Anyway, last week the same exact issue occurred (which leads me to believe the original problem was misdiagnosed). It fixed itself after 4 days. I have also noticed that on occasion, the gauge cluster sometimes does not communicate with the radio. For example, the radio will have a functional connection to my iPhone but the gauges say no phone connected. Also the volume buttons on the steering do not work when this happens. Usually a restart of the car will fix this particular problem.
Yesterday I washed the car and got a Stabilitrak error and a Service rear axle. After a small drive the stabilitrak light went out but the service axle stayed on. A day later, all warnings are gone.
Of course, none of these issues happen when the car is at the dealer.
So I have my car back with no fixes, not even a software update, which I suggested to the dealer.
I would say this sounds like a loose ground but I dont even know where to tell yo to look as this car is so new. Find a different dealer?
First thing I would do is make sure those battery connections are good and tight. I'd probably disconnect them and then reconnect them while I'm at it.

Thanks guys. I checked the battery. Connections are tight.
In all fairness to the dealer, intermittent electrical issues are a bitch to solve. Hours and hours of troubleshooting can lead to no solution. I have personally seen/had similar issues on aircraft, never to be completly solved. Think about trading, the ultimate solution.

C5's had this loose/poor ground issue. It became so common a failure that people with new C5's were going to these grounding points and re-doing what the factory had originally done.
