Automatic owners - How often do use paddle shifters?
Just wondering how many of you actually use your paddle shifters on a regular basis.

I use mine all the time, just like I did in my C6. I never put it in D and let it shift itself.

I don't use mine very often, but I'm glad they're there for when I do want to use them.

I will a lot. I used them about 90 percent of the time on the last car I had which had then equipped.

90% of the time when I am on back country roads, I also like the way it rev matches on the down shifts especially with the NPP's open

I use them all the time but almost never in M. In D and sport mode I use them to downshift to pass a car or to slow down and use the upshift to take it out of the performance shift mode instead of waiting for the car to do it. I like it!

Use them when playing but seldom for everyday driving. I think it shifts faster if you let the transmission do it

Most of the time for now. I am coming from a 2012 Mustang GT 6 speed and with over 50 years of only driving manuals and I cannot break the habit. One positive note, I can move the seat back a little farther. Drove a 458 Ferrari Italia in Vegas and was hooked on the paddles. I think the paddles give you just about as much control with less work. OK, I am 71 years old.

Paddle shifters...
I use them as much as I did on my C6. I basically use them when driving around town but on the highway I put it in Drive, but in Sport mode, and let the car shift itself for better gas mileage. I sometimes put it in Drive and Eco mode on long trips when I want a bit more quiet in the interior. But I do love the NPP....and I'm 64 years old....LOL

100% of the time.
It "may" shift faster in D, but it also shifts at a lower RPM, which doesn't allow as much control for most driving, IMO.

More and more. They are great to use when you want to keep the RPMs up and have a quick throttle response. Excellent choice for the mountains.
