It's a different "look". Some seem to like it, most don't. I think it looks fine, but not better than factory and certainly not worth the cost, to me. I happen to like the factory black.

I think it depends on the color of the car and personal taste. Especially with darker color cars the carbon flash metallic black rear fascia blends in well but it's more obvious on lighter colors.
Painting the rear fascia was the one major change we made to our Blade Silver car last year and we think it works well on that color.

And I thought I was the only one that didn't care for the "one color fits all" facias from the factory. I liked it on the cyber gray since it was a close match but not so much on the other body colors. So on your buddy's I give him a .......

I like it very much and think it makes the rear look less busy.
