Default Red Rear Fascia

My friend has had most of the rear fascia, of his Stingray, painted red. Thumbs up or thumbs down?

I will give 2 thumbs up for the additional fascia painted to match the body of the car.

Looks good, but I think I like factory treatment better. Seems like it highlights all the seams in the rear. Maybe look better without the Z51 spoiler?

It is ok, certainly not worth the cost. I'm staying stock.

It's a different "look". Some seem to like it, most don't. I think it looks fine, but not better than factory and certainly not worth the cost, to me. I happen to like the factory black.

I think it depends on the color of the car and personal taste. Especially with darker color cars the carbon flash metallic black rear fascia blends in well but it's more obvious on lighter colors.

Painting the rear fascia was the one major change we made to our Blade Silver car last year and we think it works well on that color.

This scheme looks good on the silver, but not so much on the red, IMO.

Since you asked I'd have to go with a thumbs down, I don't care for it personally.

And I thought I was the only one that didn't care for the "one color fits all" facias from the factory. I liked it on the cyber gray since it was a close match but not so much on the other body colors. So on your buddy's I give him a .......

Pure opinion though so to each their own. I probably won't paint mine (when I get one) but who knows. Thanks for sharing.

It looks OK, spoiler should be carbon flash, help it to accent the rear.

I like it better than I thought I would. It's all about personal taste.

Definite improvement over stock, but would look even better with the Mascara vents painted red as well.

I like it very much and think it makes the rear look less busy.
Though.............

Like my ol' grandad was fond of saying: If we all liked the same thing,
everyone would be all over your grandma.

It GM had painted the whole bumper body color, some would be blacking it out.
I plan to keep mine as close to stock as possible.
