Production figures are not released monthly. They will produce a nice summary at the end of the model year.

So are you saying GM does not know how many corvesttes they produced in the month of may and there is no way of that information leaking out?

How on earth did you jump to that conclusion from what I said? I simply stated they don't release monthly production figures.

To answer your questions - No, I am not saying that at all. I'm sure they know their production by day, but that information is not released to the public. Could it be leaked? Yes, but I have not seen such a leak in the past. If someone did leak the info, they would no doubt be putting their job in jeopardy.

Last I heard they were running about 175 per day produced. One holiday in May. You do the math!

What does GM consider a "sale"? An order from a dealer? A delivery to a dealer? An actual retail sale from the Chevy dealer to a customer?

Probably at 4150 Vehicle Invoiced. At that point GM can recognize the revenue, creating an accounts receivable until they get paid.
