Was having second thoughts until...
Ive been waiting about 5 months now for my C7 to arrive. I ordered her torch red with the full length body stripes. For the last 5 months i have been thinking about whether i made the right choice in ticking the body stripes option until my dealership sales man sent me this teaser.....
(i pick her up tomorrow morning and dont think i will be sleeping tonight)

Nicely done, want to see more pics when you get her home. And call your salesman right away and tell him to take off that license plate frame! The aero bracket is much more friendly to the eyes,

This day couldn't have gone any better folks! i picked up Eve a day early, i luckly managed to replace the standard license plate bracket with the Aero bracket ( just as you were all so kind to advise and recommend) and finally got to drive my first corvette ever! I promised you all pictures, her she is:

to be fair i have seen the Ferrari FF (woman police only), the aventador and the Aston 77. 
Another note about Dubai you see cars like an aventador, MC12, 458, etc... just as frequently as you would see your bare feet in day.

Thank you all for your kind words. I never really saw myself as a "corvette kinda guy", but made my choice purely on reviews i watched and read about. My choices were the Jag F-type V8s, C63 AMG, 997 911 Carrera GTS. I drove each and every one of them, and have to say i enjoyed each one for a specific character it carried. I was not offered a C7 to test drive nor have i ever driven any other previous gen corvette. All that being said i couldnt have made a better choice choosing the C7, comparing it to the rides i tested above it just feels so much more alive and exciting (second best is the 997 GTS hands down).
