Default Infotainment issues

Today I went to my dealer for several computer updates namely the cabin lights and the new seat software for 7 speeds. I've encountered several issues where my screen arrow on the bottom doesn't allow for expansion. The main screen is erratic and doesn't allow for my nav system to display.
When my contacts are displayed when the phone button is activated it won't scroll when the up/down arrows are pressed. It only works when I hit the letter and I touch the bar to move up and down. I'm totally pissed my lights work the seat issue seems to be better but now my infotainment screen is bugged. Has anybody else encountered this problem?

Dr4688,

Sincere apologies to read of the infotainment concerns with your C7. I can understand your displeasure, but it's great that you've sought assistance with your dealer. Feel free to keep us posted on the diagnosis if possible .

Hello William just a heads up these issues occurred after the dealer worked on my car not before. It worked just fine. The lighting seems ok so far but I'm still trying to figure out my seat setting issues. It seems that my mirrors change positions to an awkward setting even though I've set them to driver position 1 my exit setting is the same for the mirrors. I will try my infotainment screen tmrw and see if it works the same. I might have to bring it back to the dealer. I am wondering if there is any other bulletins on these issues.

Default Fixed?

Spent some quality time today trying to see if the upgrade worked. Heres my findings. Nav scren works and so do all settings. Seems strange that a day or 2 makes a difference. Ive heard issues on the forum re screen going crazy. Hope its not a glitch.

Also found out that the new software for 7 speeds and the seat issue didnt do a dam thing. I thought it was working yesterday and today iscompletely unresponsive. When i press the ignition button nothing happens. Its set to move to my preset position 1 which is my driving position.
When i hold position 1 my seats move into position. Seems like GM still needs to tweak the software.

Thanks for the information!

The type of feedback you provided is essential to helping us improve our vehicles. I will document your suggestions into our system where it can be viewed and reviewed by multiple departments within GM.

Sounds like you may be running up against the limit switches - there is another thread with recall and advisory information, and one of the articles explained the behaviors when the seats are at either forward or reverse limits and it alters the behaviors for memory and exit functions. If you are tall, try having the seat just shy of full back and see if that makes it behave better?
