My new grille arrived! What replacement am I going with? Hint: ZEEEOHHH___

That looks good, just added to my mod list.
I wonder how many other Z06 parts will get fitted to the Stingray either directly or with modifications.
I predict a C7 GS sooner than we think.

The thought had occurred... The proper wording, however, has not yet come to me.
"Pardon me, but I need to inspect a specific one of your tens of thousands of different grilles for 'quality control'."
Watch me wind up in a police chase on the news in a white Bronco with a Z06 grille hanging out the window...

Every party needs a pooper, so I'll be the one today. Just what goes behind the large outer holes on your stock C7? I you install the grill without dealing with those air inlet holes, probably for brake cooling on the Z06 it will not look right. You will have to fabricate something.

Thinking, where the cooling duck holes are might be a place to mount fog lights. Someone previously on another thread was looking for a place to install extra lighting.

Irrelevant to life in Oklahoma! However, that is a VERY good question for those living in front plate states. I wonder what GM has in mind for this...
I bought it from a grille seller on eBay. He evidently has been able to get his hands on a few of these. A GoPro is a very small HD video camera system that you can get various mounts for to mount on all kinds of surfaces. It's a great camera (can shoot still shots and time lapse as well) that has a lot of sporting applications.

I'm 99% certain that the large outer holes on the bottom of the Z06 grille line up perfectly with the brake cooling ducts on the stingray. At least they look like they will on my Z51. Not sure if it's any different on the base model nor am I certain that the duct inlet shape is the same as the opening on the Z06 grille but I'm sure if it's close, a heat gun would be all that's needed to reshape the duct inlet enough to match the grill opening.

I don't think the bumper has to come off. I'll post a DIY thread with instructions and photos once I do it.

Can't wait to see it installed! I've been watching many new C7 grill installs knowing that someday I would be upgrading mine as well and have yet to see anyone do it without removing the front bumper. Please let us know if this can be accomplished.
