This string is on 2015 pricing, not 2014. Everyone is well aware of the present 2014 price structure. It is the 2015 model year pricing that had NOT been released yet.

The dealers have people lining up to buy them without knowing what they'll be paying for them. You can be sure there will be another price increase. They won't let you drive them because they don't have to in order to sell them. They'll let you know how much you'll have to pay when they know. Hint: Don't even think about a discount anytime soon. I'm glad I can afford it anyways but I'll wait until winter in the hope for a discount since ordering a 2015 now wouldn't get me much seat time before my driving season is over for this year.

Sorry, I disagree on several points. I will have mine by mid Sept. I have driven a dealer car and also recieving a discount. The best answer is stop buying into the only way to get a car is from a large dealer. Some of the midsize dealers have the best deals and far better Customer Service.

With the added options as standard on Z51 or 3LT cars, it's going to be interesting to see if GM can include those announced options without raising the price again.

And I kind of feel sorry for guys that don't like or want the NPP but want the Z51.

Yes, and their would be a subset of those who planned on putting on an aftermarket exhaust. I think GM is trying to jack up the price to reduce Z51 demand.

They are not tossing them in free! Rest assured the MSRP will go up to cover the current option price.
In estimating the new options made std on my 2014 3LT I come up with an estimated $2,000 increase.

The 2015 will cost more which will bring;

1. Crying about getting ripped off

2. Bragging about how much off list they got

3. Agreement that it still the worlds best sports car bargain..
