Your thread does not load the photos. Something your doing is not correct.
Good thought, but that has not been a problem in the past. I think the issue is that people who opened this thread before I resized and re-uploaded the photos are opening a page that has cookies stored that link to the original photo links. I'm going to test the theory by posting a link to one of the photos above right here. If you can see the photo I am posting right now, then it means your cookies still have the old links stored when you pull up this thread. I could be wrong, but at least this tests my theory. I'd really like for everyone to be able to see the photos I posted. Please let me know if you can see this photo but can't see the photos in my original post.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try something else. It's crazy because the photos load and open for me.

Jeremy, I've enjoyed your writing style, patience, and photos of your car mods since day one. Great job.
Also great write up and photo documentary on the school gives me a good insight of what to expect when I go out late Sept for the three day level 1 course with another club member.
I've ordered a pair of flat bottom racing shoes that should arrive this week. Did you use them and/or really find them helpful? I expect the very limited use will last me a lifetime .
Oh, forgot to say, Thanks for fixing the photos. They work great now.

OP, thanks for the great write-up and the pictures are loading fine for me. Did you take video and if yes, where did you mount the camera?

My opinion regarding racing shoes is that they are helpful, but not particularly necessary for the two day school if you have a pair of comfortable, flat bottom, tennis shoes. However, I would recommend having the racing shoes if you are taking the three day class because of the amount of heel toe shifting you might be doing.
Thank you for letting me know that the photos are working now.
Yes, I took video and will post them soon. I mounted the camera on the rear hatch class on the inside of the car and also on the clear targa top on the inside of another car. I will post videos of both views.

Jeremy, don't they have something similar to next years data option that they can provide you (for a price) on an SD card to take home?
I'm glad you have enjoyed my posts. I'm glad you are taking the opportunity to attend the school in September. You are going to have a great time there!

And you are correct, Ricky Bobby is the best instructor out there. Spring Mountain is a special experience, well worth the money, although it can prove addictive... And the amenities are good enough that your significant other won't get bored if you don't want to burn the "boys weekend" card for this trip, although if they find the spa it can get expensive... !

The first video I shot was with the GoPro mounted to the back glass. It actually fell off shortly into our session, but I remounted it and shot for a few more minutes before the GoPro decided to stop recording for some reason. The rest of my videos were shot with the GoPro mounted to the transparent targa top. I noticed that mounting it on the targa top results in what appears to be much fast speeds around the track, even though the speeds are the same.
The remaining videos were shot with the GoPro mounted to the targa top.
My last video is of the instructor demo laps. The instructors took us out in groups of four to drive us around the road course at about 70% of their top speeds to instruct us in the car with them driving.

Looks like fun..I am thinking about going to this class just because it looks like a blast. I will try to watch your videos on husbands computer as they keep stopping on my iPad. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

Congratulations. Now find a local HPDE to take your car to. You'll get one-on-one in-car instruction. You will learn far more than the lead-follow drill.

Well that stinks... it's my home track. Been doing HPDEs for a decade and instructing/racing with NASA Mid-Atlantic for 4 years now.
