Default Help! Plenum removal

I have searched and haven't found an answer to this - how exactly do I remove the wiring harness shown below? I found a post on this forum but it doesn't state how to pull the harness off. There must be some lock but I can't quite figure it out from looking at it. Everything else I have off already, this is the last piece. (and yes I have the full plenum replacement from RPI, not a cover over the existing).

I searched and found your answer immediately. The key to the search was using advanced search feature on this website. Entering Plenum in the search field. Select Search Titles Only in the drop down below the search field and them selecting on the C7 section in the forums field on the right side of the search screen. By doing so, you are searching for Plenum in only the thread titles and only searching for that in the C7 sections. That way you don't get results from all the other generations as well. Hope that helps you with your search results moving forward.

Anyhow, your answer can be found here:

Somehow I missed this on my initial search. BTW, just to clarify, the blue lock slides towards the driver seat, not towards the left front tire which is what I was trying.

Thanks, I found it a moment later. I searched quite a bit (google, not on here specifically) and this was way later in the search for me. Thanks for the quick response!

After all the hassle it looked like to take off the Plenum, I just bought the RPI Cover. Looks pretty good and it was a snap to install.

The older I get the more I realize that most of the DYI projects I tackle cost twice as much and take three times longer than I planned.

Your Mods look nice. I went with everything Under Hood in Red with the Carbon Fiber Plenum Cover. I love the look people have when you pop the Hood. It certainly isn't dull under there anymore.

Oops, replied to wrong Post. Meant for the OP. This darn Internet thingy...

Many appearance mods are not hard at all if you research first and buy the right tools. Most of the time many dive in using a screwdriver when they really need a trim tool, or apply a decal with water instead of a release agent, etc....all it takes is an hour with google and you tube, somebody has done it before.

This is pretty much everything you need to mod and why I wrote it:
