Will be taking delivery of a c7 z51 next week
Ideas concerning how to break in this monster...

There is a break-in on the engine. If you are driving a long distance back, be sure to read and follow the advice in the manual for the break-in before your drive back.

Check the oil level..correctly(in the manual) Apparently some dealers are overfilling and leaving low so the first time you check it your heart starts racing. Several on the forum have experienced big oil leaks from oil going into the intake from overfilling and on a Z51 when its not even reading on the stick it may still have plenty enough but again- bad feeling to see a clean dipstick when checking oil. My $.02
