but that's not all...

Has anyone counted how many "nods to the fish" designs other than the side emblems there are?

If you want to get rid of the ray completely (which is closer to a shark than a regular fish), you'll have do some more damage.

The emblem can be found by searching for "1974-1976 Corvette Side Stingray Emblem ". Can also be found on Amazon.

The emblems I've seen are OEM parts. Chrome letters over a black base.

Everyone i've met so far liked it...at Car and Coffee last month had lots of compliments and had no negative comments.. even from other Vette owners.

A little history lession--There was no such thing as a stingray corvette in 1960. The first stingray was 1963 and it was spelled "Sting Ray". The script was removed in 1968 and in 1969 was replaced with "Stingray".

I like the fish emblem and I'll tell you why. Me and the wife were leaving the movies in my OLD 09 Cyber Grey Coupe when a NEW C7 Cyber Grey Couple passed by. I told my my wife "Look the new stingray". We meet up with the C7 at the red light and the 1st thing she asked is "what is the thing on the side?", I said "that's the new emblem for the StingRay", she says "Oh, I love it". So as we are headed home and she turns to me and says "I think we need to BUY the NEW StingRay!". So 3 weeks later NEW C7 sitting in my garage! I LOVE THAT FRIGGIN FISH!
