It is odd since I think they used Shark Gray in the bash presentations but GM doesn't use different internal and external names. All I can figure is some legal type found a trademark or duplicate name issue at the last minute. Or, the constraint report has the older name and hasn't been updated.
The fleet order guide shows Shark Gray Metallic. 2 separate GM systems, same RPO code, 2 different names. Typical GM......
For marketing purposes you are correct .... but when you later go to the parts department for touch up paint, if it follows in GM tradition, it can be called just about anything that might make you afraid to use it.
So, I'm wondering. What color combo did you find "ugly"...?
It wouldn't be fair to the owner to show his car. It is the combination of colors which makes the car so bad. If you PM me I will send you a picture but I am not going to hurt the guys feelings in public.
