If I am reading my owner's manual correctly, I should be able to load the Apps from my IPhone 4S onto the center screen of my 2LT vert via Bluetooth (specifically, I am hoping to get my Waze App to open up on the C7 center screen). I paired the phone as directed and have no trouble with the Bluetooth operation of the phone otherwise, but alas, no apps on the screen. Did I just misunderstand the manual?
I've yet to see or hear of any apps from the phone displaying on the infotainment display. What you will get is the audible alerts from the app but none of the graphics. If I'm wrong, I'd love to hear it but to date, I've never read nor seen that working. Would be cool though if it did. Only issue is that GM would loose countless NAV sales as you could just have google maps display in the cars screen.
If the chevy spark and sonic can you use the bringgo nav app and show it on the 7 inch screen then the stingray certainly should but with waze instead. Chevy hasn't got the memo that their nav system sucks compared to waze or google maps.
Regardless of what the manual says it is not a reality on this model. In my 2011GS I installed a whole diffferent system, took out everything head unit and all speakers and installed amps ect..the Pioneer AVIC 130BT was the top of the line with built in 7" screen. This amazing unit would let you replicate your Iphone screen (thru and app) thru hardwire not bt, and literally touch most of the icons and get the functionality!!! I could us e WAZE , google maps or whatever I wanted. It would even let me snap a pic then use the GEO info on the pic as a POI. So the capability is out there when ever they want to licence it

Only sound and album artwork will bluetooth to the MyLink system in the Corvettes.
You will have to go aftermarket or hack the headunit.
Also all the aftermarket HUs that I've played with, require that you plug in the phone for full video and app integration. There may be one that doesn't. But, I haven't seen it.
