Has anyone on the forum bought a C7 and benefited by using or applying the military discount to their purchase? It looks like roughly a $6000 reduction or so off the MSRP and I was wondering if it is legit.
Sure did. On 29 May 14 I purchased my Cyber Gray, 3LT Z51 from Win Kelly out of Clarksville, MD. They accepted the Military Discount which was in the neighborhood of roughly $7,300. No problems and no issues. Had the deal in place and approved within a couple of hours of the test drive.

Mine is currently on order utilizing the military discount. approx. $7600 off. It's great. Go on GM's website and signup to get your Authorization number.
My dealer wouldn't take supplier, but did give me the military discount. Both are monetarily the same and I was eligible for both. Through the end of June, if your dealer is offering the military discount on ANY vehicles, they must offer it on ALL vehicles including the Corvette.
I was able to take advantage of this through MacMulkin. From what I understand, you must TAKE DELIVERY before it expires, not just order it. I scheduled my delivery on May 31st prior to the June extension because of this.
I was able to get a military discount, which is just the GSU or supplier pricing. It's a great deal and I was grateful that I was eligible for it.
And the same as the Credit Union discount, so there are a few programs one could be eligible for i.e. I was eligible for the military and CU discount on my order.
I tried to get the USAA discount/Farm Bureau discount in addition to the $6,000.00 credit union discount I received. The dealer took it all the way to GM corporate and was told an emphatic "NO".
