Default C7 and previous Corvettes

I got my C7 in April. Previously I owned two different Corvette generations at one time. I drove my C7 exclusively for almost two months then I drove my low mileage C4 convertible again. Right then I made the decision to sell the C4 (SOLD IT). The difference between the C6 and C4 was not nearly so profound and traded off between both cars, often. The C7 is a world apart, electronics, power, and handling, super awesome!

I can identify with you...I still have my 27,000 mile '84 and my 29,000 mile '05. I've only had the '84 out once this season but since I have owned it since new I have no plans to sell it. There is a tremendous difference from then to today and to think the '84 was revolutionary when it was introduced. All three of mine have Z51 and you can imagine how much better the C6 & C7 ride compared to the C4...
Having said that, the '84 is still like putting on some comfortable broken in shoes, and I appreciate it for what it represented in it's time. It's nice to be able to compare them firsthand-too bad I didn't hang on to my '97 or I would have had four generations to evaluate.

Sold my mint 63 SWC to purchase the C7. I got sick of having a piece of furniture sitting in the garage, and wanted a car I could enjoy. NEVER looked back, love the C7 and the fact I can DRIVE IT without worry. LIFE IS GOOD>

It will be interesting to see what Chevrolet is hiding to entice us into a future purchase, and they will. A few things I see in the future are: blind spot warning, turn signal lights on side mirrors, auto applied brakes. These features are offered on other cars and not on the current C7. Could be engine updates, wheel changes trim modifications etc.

Had both my C7 and my C6 for a while because winter was coming and nobody wanted it in late October. I loved that C6, drove it 95,000 fun (and very reliable) miles. But, as soon as I had the C7 I drove the C6 only once. The C7 is that much better, I just couldn't go back.

Having said that, however, the friend I sold my C6 to loves it already. It is a relativity thing, the C6 was and is a very fine car.
