Default 2015 Black Machine Faced Wheels

Who had decided to order the black machine faced wheels unseen on their early 2015 order? If so, what color will your car be? I plan to pull the trigger on the new wheels on my TR Z51. I like the black wheels but hope the accent gives the wheel a little more definition and umph. Thoughts?

Hope they are better than the 2014 machined-face wheels. Mine were a waste of $1495 since you have to look real close to distinguish them from base wheels.

I think you're making a great choice, the bit of alum shown will give the wheel area some definition and not a black blob when rolling. Exactly why I bought the Cray's:

These are essentially the black wheel with the faces machined to give some bright accent.

I'm going with the silver painted wheels on my 2015 Laguna Blue Z51. I saw a photo of the machined Z51 wheels at the bash in April and was not impressed.

Very nice look Glen!!!! Have you seen the picture of the black machined wheel proposed for 2015? I think the amount of aluminum showing will be a little more subtle than yours.....do you agree? Yours are awesome.

This set is the only official pic we've seen so far:

Plus Glen showed you this one a couple months ago that I think is pretty darn close to the 2015's:

I agree with Rick, you really can't tell by the museum poster, is it matte or gloss black?

I still think it will look good, if you don't like it, sell it! They'll go quick on eBay with local pick up....

I personally don't like the all black wheel better than the example on the red car. However, I do like the look on Glens car. It appears the machined wheels on the red c7 are grey not black thus hurting the contrast in my opinion. If so, the factory option may look more attractive to me.

I would have ordered these if they had been available. I think they might be the best wheel offered for the Stingray to date.

I'm not sure that I dig them yet (kind of a moot point since I bought a 2014) but I might have bought the ones that Glen has had they been offered. Those look pretty sharp and exotic!

Glen, I wasn't sure about the Cray's before seeing them on a car. No doubt now. Awesome looking on your Cyber Grey.

Wetsand/CQuartz and Cray's....a stunning vehicle now....machine face need much less cleaning too....I'll always buy them in some design.
