Default Check the torque on your wheel lug nuts now.....

Just discovered, after 3 months of ownership, that my wheel nuts are not at the 100 ft lb spec. Because we are all driving new vehicles this is something that gets easily overlooked....wouldn't want to see any of my forum friends get into trouble.

You should re-torque lug nuts every few weeks if you have a hi-po car, and daily if you really push it. Track rats know this. Others should learn....

Checked mine when I got home from the dealer (2500 miles). Rears were fine, fronts were at approx. 65 Lb-Ft.

Lots of people never wear their seat belt, lots of people never wear a helmet on a motorcycle, lots of people smoke their whole life - and never have a problem. That doesn't mean any of those things are a good idea either.

Do you use Gorilla Glue to keep them in place?
