Finally Got My C7
Car was built on the 18th, delivered to the dealer on the 23, we picked it up on the 25th.
Lots of mileage on the car, kidding a grand total of 2 mi, just what I want in a car like this.
Everything went as expected, no financial surprises, car clean and handsome. Blade Silver 2LT A6 w Adrenaline Red interior. Found one strange problem, passenger side seat malfunctioned. A sensor was being pressured by the carpet behind the seat. They put a cushioning pad over it and all was well.
Had nearly an hour in the rain and mostly bumper to bumper traffic, seldom getting above 25 mph. Regularly varied my speeds to facilitate the “break in.” Despite all that, got 25 mpg.
Lots of TX roads have a coarse aggregate and with the fat tires, significant road noise. One smooth asphalt, it was very quiet, excellent ride, great brakes and handling.
Some don’t think it’s of much value but I really liked the bright and useful HUD.
Immediately got smiles, heads leaning out of pickups and friendly stares.
Filthy from the rain, needs a wash, wax, check lug torques, install locking lugs and splash guards.
Really slick car. Don
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Enjoy the ride.

Just installed the GM splash guards. Everyone says they’re easy, sometimes those comments are optimistic but as they said a breeze to install. Wish GM had made them project a little more outward.
Permanently installed plastic jack pucks were no brainers of course. Off to get XPEL and tinting near term. Don
