Well I have had an order number for a while found out I made the first round waiting on clarification. Hope this is true been without my z06 for a while now and miss it already hope I will be satisfied with the power level. I feel like a GI giving up his m1 to get a Springfield bolt action rifle they both had magazines and hit the target but at what rate of fire or speed in the corvettes case.

As a related question...How do you know your order was accepted? I entered my order # on the track my order page and it says order placed. Does that mean that my order was accepted?

 

No it does not mean the order has been accepted. You need to move to event code 2000 before your order is accepted. Go to the sticky "Chevrolet customer service order tracking" thread and give them your order number and the state the order was placed in an they will tell you where your order is. They are very helpful! .

You can also,goto http://www.chevrolet.com/order-tracking.html and they will give you a basic idea where your order is.

If your order has no constraints and your dealer has allocation and you are low enough in the que to be in first batch you should be good to go I'm at 2000 already. Use the tracking sticky at top to contact Customer care with your order #. Or ask your dealer what you status is.

I am number one at my dealer and once the order was placed it went to 2000. Approx build date is the week of Aug 11th with a delivery date around the middle of September.

Only item I ordered that was on constraint was the carbon fiber dash which I deleted. Wasn't sure I wanted it anyway.

Sold my 11GS 2 weeks ago and starting to get a bit jittery especially when we finally get nice weather..
