When/where does the white protective cover get installed? Before it leaves the factory or elsewhere?

I hope inside the factory before any crap can settle on the newly painted cars?

Well, the last thing that happens before they go out the factory door is the leak test where thousands of gallons of water are sprayed from all directions. If no leaks are found, it goes outside the plant. Not sure when the cover gets installed, but I don't think it is in the factory.
