Missing Person
I told the wife I was going to get a haircut in my LRG vert. Didn't get back for three hours. Told her I took a wrong turn leaving the barber and couldn't find my way home for a while. She said no big deal and that if I had left in the truck and was gone for 12 hours she would call the cops for help, but being I was in the vette she wouldn't be worried for 4 days and then she would call the cops and have them just keep a eye on me to make sure I was OK.

Must have been a great barber too. It has to be difficult cutting someone's hair in a Corvette, even with the top down! It will take you forever to get all of the hair out of the car.
This is just a suggestion, but it might be easier on the barber if you just park where you can see your car from inside the barber's shop next time!

Nice post describing what this car does to us. 11,000 plus miles now and it's still the same high (only better) as my 1st new car
