I use a 12" plastic ruler that is about 1 1/2" wide wrapped with an old towel to clean the difficult to reach areas of the windshield.
I also use the plastic ruler to clean the same areas of the dash. I spray Aerospace Protectant 303 on the towel and wrap the ruler so that only the damp part of the towel is against the dash and the dry area of the towel is touching the glass.
