Does that $8300 item actually show up on the REAL window sticker?
I have to wonder why GM lets the dealers get away with advertising something on their websites as a window sticker when it's not really like the actual one.
no its a premier edition option - a bad term for every option possible on the premiers - 3lt, Mag, z51, etc...

Read the post above yours, They aren't "getting away" with anything, this is a Premier Edition and the $8300 shows up on the window sticker, just with more detail than on the website. BTW, this particular section of the website takes its information directly from the GM database and translates the build sheet into this format, it's not the dealer getting adding markup or playing games.

Well I say that is not correct, as I have looked at both a coupe and a vert premier edition. I do not recall the Premier coupe being much more than 2500 over a fully loaded coupe.
I am sure a Premier vert is not 8K over a loaded vert, not that much extra on the car.
Our local dealer has a Premiere Vert, number in the 300s, with an MSRP of $80k plus $23k markup. Yep, $103k plus TTL. It will be there a while. It is the LRG with the orange top and Brownstone interior.

it is correct....whether you want to believe it or not is your choice, that is the term for the premier edition option...remember that is all mats, luggage, etc not just "hard options" you are used to...
from another vette forum:
If you are looking at the window sticker on a Premier Edition they list a "Processing Option" instead of breaking down all the cost per option so the cost you see are for the 3LT then "Processing Option" which are all the Premier options bundled in one cost. This will be on the window sticker in the standard font. This is not a Market Adjustment. If on any other Corvette other than the Premier Edition then it's a dealer market adjustment and would be noted in other than the factory sticker print.

Well I guess I am wrong. Sure did not think with the Coupe Premier it was only about 2500 to 3000 more than a loaded 3LT. Did not think it would be that much more for the vert.
It is an option that requires processing your check in an amount $8,300 higher than a lesser equipped but otherwise comparable vehicle would require, which results in your car receiving a General Motors Premier designation not otherwise available on more mundane versions of that vehicle once the check clears.
There is no processing option on the window sticker of our premier edition vert. Everything is spelled out on the sticker including the premier edition Z51option which is $8,300. As far as mark up we bought ours $3,500 under sticker price. I am talking the original window sticker from Chevrolet. No modification from the dealer.
My memory is the first round of coupe PE units had Processing Option on the window sticker which prompted the very question that started this thread. But a VIN check will provide the definitive answer because the PE editions had their own VIN sequencing.
