No .. as currently scheduled, production of '14 ends on Aug 8, and production of '15 starts on Aug 11 ..
So you could no longer order a '14 after June 12th, and you could order a '15 the following Monday June 15th? And the '15s are already queued for production?

All true, as far as I know. I suppose if they were able to finish the '14 orders early, they could start the '15s a little earlier, but that was the schedule as I heard it.
They plan production well in advance. We'll know more when they start assigning TPWs ..
My understanding is that 2015 will now start production on 7/21 instead of 8/11.
Possible, but I have seen some '14 folks with TPWs of 7/21 .. I guess it just depends on how quickly they can finish the '14 production. Such a change would make a number of people happy .. in both model years ..

What happens is they will mix the line with both 2014 and 2015 models. When the new model year begins you will see both model years on the same line one in front of the other for a week or two until the 14s are all built out. The 2015s will have "15" pasted on the windshiels so no mistakes are made while in final assembly.

Are they building 2014's and 2015's at the same time?
Yes, first it will be 3 14s to 1 15, then 2 to 2, then 1 14 to two 15s then all 15s. Its not unusual to see delivery carriers the first few weeks to have new 14s and new 15s on them at the same time.
