Problem with steering wheel controls
I'm planning on having the dealer take a look but am wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

This just happened to me yesterday (7/2/14). Vin 12234.
Steering wheel controls for sound system stopped working, then sound would stop for about 15 seconds every 3-5 minutes, then the whole unit would reboot itself.
Stopping and restarting did not have any effect. I ran mine by the dealer this morning that they are going to re-flash the system.

Only thing I have noticed is after start give the system a few seconds to come on line. I tried to turn the radio off the instant I started the car and the radio volume/0n off didn't work for the trip, I didn't restart. Has worked as designed since. Once the logic gets screwed up only a reboot will reset it. Vin#22487

I have only had my car about a month and have recently noticed that sometimes after start up none of my steering wheel controls work (no favorites, no volume, can't change the DIC options and phone does not work). Sometimes a shut down and complete restart will resolve the issue and sometimes it will not. I noticed yesterday that after about 10 minutes they started to work.
I'm planning on having the dealer take a look but am wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

VIN 32826 built 7/18 delivered 7/26 and currently at 512 miles and it happened to me this am. Lost both sets of steering wheel audio buttons.
Calling dealer to have it looked at. Rat's was hoping a late MY build would have had ALL the latest software and bugs fixed.

Several times I have had this issue and called OnStar in frustration. They connected me with the GM info people who advised the park and wait deal. It worked but was not reassuring. The last tim this occurred I changed XM stations and the radio came back to life.
Are we back to the early days of AOL like annoyances?
