Anyone have the Llumar CTX film installed in there car (doesn't even have to be your C7)? I was looking at the 30 level which appears to block ~50% of the solar energy (heat) and 99% UV. Being in TX this sounds fantastic! From what I understand it is a partial ceramic tint and the ceramic is what blocks the heat. It does not block cell/radio/gps signals like a metalized film.
Questions:
1) There are comments about it looking a little blue or greenish, is that true?
2) Not really the CTX specific question, but can you tint the full rear window in the coupe? I called a 3M tint shop and they said they could not and would have to install a blackout sticker (lame) and I said no thanks.
The problem with the rear window is the C7 logo frit. There are thousands of C7 logos at the top of the rear window. Film does not adhere completely over these frit logos. The "lame" suggestion is actually a good one. It solves the problem.

I called a shop that sells the Llumar Film and talked with the installer, he mentioned the little logos and said he has done a full rear window tint on 4 C7s with no issue. He said it does take some time to get right but it's doable. I guess the first shop was either inexperienced or lazy?

Search the tint threads here. Lots of photos and they all show the problem with the rear window.
