FWIW.. wet sanding isn't rocket science. Its just a lot of elbow grease & effort.. .

RELOAD to finish
While color sanding and machine polishing isn't rocket science, it's not hard to suddenly burn through the clear on a body line or panel edge, which is a very costly mistake to repair. I used to paint cars for a living so I've done more than my share of color sanding and machine buffing. I've seen enough very costly mistakes by rookies so that I still approach it with caution.
It's also not much fun to do it enough that you realize you've sanded your fingers smooth and you won't have fingerprints for a while.
