Default HOLY SMOKIN' CRACK market adjustment

So yesterday I stop off at the local dealer to see if they have any verts in. They have two. A yellow and a red one and both z51 with black wheels and autos. Nice looking for sure. Drive away today the sign on the window said......for..................$99,000.0 0!!!!!!!!!! . I am very interested in the Z06 vert but if this is the kind of game dealers are going play then they can keep their cars. 20 grand market adjustment??????? Total B.S..

Rant over....

That goes under highway robbery in the dictionary I looked at. It is a mass produced vette and there are tons of them out here. They are simply trying to take advantage of folks because the economy is booming. I have seen 5 and 10 grand adjustments in large metro areas for the new release of a model but 20 grand just made me mad. As much as I love vettes, a C7 Z51 is not worth 100 grand no matter where it is being sold.

Why the outrage and rant? They're in business to make money, more power to 'em if they can sell it for that. If it doesn't affect you personally why would you care?

Because I will be in the market for a Z06 and I typically prefer to buy local so it can affect me. 20 grand over sticker is outrageous and insulting on ANY car.

There's a Chevron station in my neighborhood that is always $.60-$.75/gallon higher than anyone else. He has lots of customers. I think (1) "That greedy bastard." and (2) How can these people be so stupid?" I've been tempted to stop and tell his customers filling up. Then I catch myself and say to myself "Let it go."

Default cheapest place for C7

The cheapest place to buy a new C7 is in St.Louis. 10 to 15% OFF sticker.

Yup, I feel your pain...I talked to those guys last March (they had the exact car I wanted) and I was willing to drive the 5+hrs to finalize a deal. They were really smokin' the rope. I think they really took the cake of all the dealers I called (for unprofessionalism). I ended up purchasing a stock unit from a forum dealer (at a discount) and the experience was seamless,

All car dealers in this area have been notoriously hard to make a deal with for years it seems. Add in a strong economy with young knuckleheads running around with more money than sense and that is the treatment you get. Glad you found your car and the deal you wanted. Anyone want a lifted Z71 for 90 grand? I hear they had one of those this spring too!

I'll sell you mine for an even $80,000 and I'll even pay to Ship it to you. It is a Manual though, so you probably won't want it.
