Default Order time yet?

My dealer took my deposit, and car info. I contacted him last week and he told me GM is not accepting orders just yet. But, I saw a post where some one said he was able to order one and they gave him a projected arrival date. What's the deal? Is my dealer not on the ball.

I would cancel immediately. Order from someone that knows what's going on.

You guys are right. I contacted another dealer and he said orders are being accepted. My salesman is off today, but, rest assured, I will contact him tomorrow AM.

What happens when I order. Do they give me an order number or a projected delivery date?

Yep probably not taking HIS orders because he has NO allocations

Time to get with the program--call MacMulkin, Kerbeck, etc and get it in the system guaranteed. Your little local guy won't get it done...

It doesn't necessarily have to be one of the mega Corvette dealers, especially if you're looking to get discounts. It's all about the salesman being informed about what he's selling. I placed my order with someone not even in the top 20 on 5/27, my car was built 6/30. Thing is, he was honest about his allocation and I could tell he was a no nonsense guy. He's been great throughout, updated me at every status change, and even checked shipping status on my car, while on vacation.

You have to wait for his next allotment. If he is a low volume dealer, you may have to wait awhile.
