Just picked up my C7 on Monday.
I am noticing multiple clicks on the driver side when I open the door. Salesman says it is unlocking the fuel door. Does not cycle multiple times on the when opening the passenger side.

I have also noticed the fuel door has opened a couple times when I open the door.

What am I doing wrong???

When you unlock the Driver's Door, the Gas Cap unlocks.
It shouldn't be popping open unless you press on it.

I get the multiple clocks at times too. No big deal IMO. I think it has something to do with the way I handle the inside door button.

I think if you listen closely, you will hear the "after" click is further back and different sounding than the door lock - click.

My car (#24302) does the same thing.. I suspect that i must be activating the lock when if I keep my fingers on the door locks too long.. Because I buy gas so seldom I have not been able to try different approaches... In any case, its no big deal and apparentlly very normal... Oh, the fuel door NEVER opens of its own accord..

The clicks you hear are normal. As to the fuel door opening on it's own, the only reason that would happen (as has been reported in other threads) is if the fuel door is pushed while it's locked. If that occurs, the fuel door may open on it's own when the fuel door is unlocked.

Default Figured it out...

IF you push on the fuel door while it is locked, it seems to unseat the fuel door. Next time you open the door or unlock everything with the fob... It will pop open. If you don't play with the fuel door, it will stay shut.

I think.
