Anybody use this
That will tell you a lot....
True coatings are not expensive and work well, it's the surface prep that costs the most in using these products....
CquartzUK, 22ple , OPTI coat and most of the other coatings give you a monster glass look for $50-80 or so. A version sold to detailers only is more. But you must get the paint perfect as you are going to seal everything in, like a swirl or a scratch. And that's where the work comes in, easily 8-10 hours worth of polishing .
Here's a cquartz vid, they all apply the same way:

It is very different than any product I have ever used
Expensive too. Kits and sales help, but still expensive.
I purchased:
Surface Cleaning Polish (claimed to be non-abrasive & seems to be)
Paint Coating
Glass Coating
Wheel Coating
Shampoo
Detailer
Booster
Have used all the products now
They are easy to use
The “polish”, necessary to prep the surface, goes on and off easily
The coatings go on easier than any product I have ever used. Just spray a little, spread with the applicator included in the kit, gently wipe off excess and let dry. Done.
No rubbing. Easiest application I ever did, just be sure the surface is properly prepped.
The shampoo is very concentrated and works well. The dirt that didn’t hose off came off easily with my Boar’s Hair Brush that I’ve been using for years.
The detailer is nice. I sprayed a little on the car as I dried (after using my leaf blower to remove most of the water). It cleaned up the small areas of dirt I missed
I applied the booster to the dried car after removing a few little bug/tar marks I couldn’t get with the Shampoo or Detailer (Arctic White is tough)
That really brought back the shine
The products are very concentrated, a little goes a long way. Good thing because the bottles are smaller than I am accustomed to having. There is enough for many applications
So far I am very happy with the product. I am curious as to the longevity of the product. They claim up to 3 years. If true, then it is worth the investment. Only time will tell
