Default C7 rear view camera problem

Last night my rear view camera on my C7 suddenly is pointing toward my license plate. Can I adjust the camera?

I don't recall seeing it. What I am sure of, when the light level is low I now have an orange reflection on the drivers side of the screen, from the license plate light. Never had that before and it makes it harder to see the screen.
Anyone else notice this?

First, ditch those nasty yellowish bulbs for white LEDs. You are supposed to see some of your plate in the view.

Okay, thanks. Strange, I have 3,500 km and never noticed the light before. I was always very impressed with the camera. Now the yellow/orange glare is very obvious. I will change the bulbs to white LEDs as suggested.

I have had mine in several times about the rear camera. When backing up in a parking space using the camera it will not put you in the center of the space. I will be on the far left side of the space. The dealership tried backing it up using the camera and had the same problem. However there is no fix for the issue I've been told.

It's a wide angle lens. You'll see a great deal (if not most) of your plate

Attack of the zombie threads.

There was another thread on this as well. It seems some of us (like me) can't see their license plate but many can.

Yes but how does one end up randomly replying to such an old thread to begin with?

If you continue scrolling down too quickly you might not notice when it changes to "related threads" and next thing you know you're replying to something from 2014!

Thanks for confirming, I am sure for the first 6 months I could not see mine!

I thought it was just me. I use the lines as guides when backing onto my lift, and I am never centered, even though the lines say I am.

While I am glad I have one, the backup camera in my Kia Sportage is 1000% better and clearer. Go figure?
