Got a generic folding aluminum covered/padded shade for all of about $8. Cut it to fit and my wife seamed the edges with bias tape and presto, a great, insulated shade that folds up behind the passenger seat.
That's a great idea and you saved some $$ over a custom one. The bias tape on the edges makes it look similar to the ones I use from canvas works.
Yes, $40-50 depending, not counting shipping costs. Appeals to my economical side. That much will pay for a full synthetic oil change done at home! Don
Since the C7 Sun Visors do not move forward far enough to hold sun shades to the windshield, how did you handle that issue?

A real necessity in central TX. Don
I got the medium size, spring metal, silver grey fabric shades. They come in pairs, fit the window perfectly (seal out the sun), they are $10 at any auto parts store (I got mine at Pep Boys). They twist up instantly into a thin circle about a foot in diameter. They store easily behind a seat or toss them in the back of your coupe. I've used them on other cars for 15 years (I live in Vegas and know heat, 110). They last three to four years before the fabric starts to tear off the spring steel frames and then you just buy a new pair.
I got a custom Covercraft for $42 with free shipping so you did save $34 plus the satisfaction of DYI's! And it's one-of-a-kind to boot!
Can you tell me where you got this one from? And does it fit up under the Sun Visors?
I've run into one common problem with a few sunshades that I've found that say they are made for the Stingray:
They are not deep enough such that it fits under the new "small" visors in the new Stingray, which holds it in place against the window. The width is fine as it fits from side to side, but it's the depth that is the problem, as it sags in the middle and eventually falls down onto the dash.
