Floor Mat Question

For those that do not have a black interior, are your standard floor mats and carpet black or do they match the seats? Thanks.

My interior is Brownstone, and my mats match. Even though the car came with two sets of mats (supposedly Brownstone, but greyer than the carpet), I didn't really like them so I ordered some Lloyds. I think they look much nicer, and are much softer.

I think Gray is the only other color with a matching floor.

What !!!! You mean the carpet doesn't always match the drapes ??? For Shame !!!

Floor Mat Colors

It is my understanding that the "factory" mats matched the colors of the carpets, black, grey, and brownstone. GM held the logos back for quite a while and just recently released them for licensing, but I believe that originally they only licensed the three stock colors. After a while Patrick Trageser from www.gmpartshouse.com was able to get me Saddle mats that were close to my Kalahari interior, with black carpet. I just wanted something to brighten up the interior. I also ordered the rear mat. The color match isn't perfect, but pretty good. Patrick will send you a sample to compare. Not sure how to link to it, but I did post some pictures with another thread about this I put on.
